If Chrome or Edge stops working while AVG Secure Browser works, and you’re getting SSL errors, follow this guide to fix it.
Step 1: Restart Your Computer and Router
- Restart PC and router to flush network settings.
Step 2: Disable Hardware Acceleration
- Open Chrome/Edge → Settings → System
- Disable “Use hardware acceleration when available”
- Restart the browser
Step 3: Disable Antivirus Temporarily
- Turn off third-party antivirus software (like AVG/Norton)
- If the browser works, add it as an exception
Step 4: Update Network Drivers
